Bible Text  (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed [is] not grievous, but for you [it is] safe.
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
- FLESH
Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has anything in which he might trust in the flesh, I more:
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, [of] the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; with regard to the law, a Pharisee;
With regard to zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness that is in the law, blameless.
But the things that were assets to me, those I counted losses for Christ.
I would rather consider everything just losses for the superiority of the full knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of everything, and consider them junk, that I may gain Christ,
And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness that is from God by faith:
That I may [come to] know him [intimately], and the [dynamic] power of his resurrection, and the joint participation in his sufferings, experiencing a similar pattern to his death;
If by any means I might attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Not as though I had already attained, or were already perfect: but I pursue after , so that I may lay hold of that for which I also have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
Brothers, I do not consider myself to have attained but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things that are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are ahead,
I press toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Let us therefore, as many as are mature, be like minded: and if in any thing you are otherwise minded, God will reveal even this to you.
Nevertheless, according to what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Brothers, continue to imitate me, and pay attention to those who live like this, since you have us as a model.
(For many conduct their lives as enemies of the cross of Christ, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping.
Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
For our conduct of life is based in the heavenly realm; from which also we are patiently awaiting the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Who will change our vile body, that it may be fashioned the same as his glorious body, according to the operation by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself.
