Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the [kairos] times to come some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to avoid certain foods, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
For everything created by God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it is received with thanksgiving:
For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
If you put the brothers in remembrance of these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto you have attained.
But reject ungodly myths and old wives tales, and continue to exercise yourself towards godliness.

For discipline of the body has little advantage: but godliness has every advantage, holding the promise of a full [zoe] life in your present circumstances, and also in what is coming in the future.
This [is] a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe.
These things command and teach.
Don't let anyone look down on you because of your youth; but be a model to the believers, in word, in conduct, in [agape] love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Meditate upon these things; give yourself wholly to them; so that your progress may be evident to everyone.
Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you will save both yourself, and those that hear you.
