Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
Therefore, my brothers dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, [my] dearly beloved.
I plead with Euodias, and plead with Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
And I ask you also, true partner, help those women who laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] my other my fellow workers, whose names [are] in the book of [zoe] life.
Rejoice in the Lord always: [and] again I say, Rejoice.
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord [is] at hand.
Be anxious about nothing; but in every thing through prayer and petition with giving of thanks let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will keep watch over your hearts and minds [nous] in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever sounds good; if [there is] anything moral, and if [there is] any praise, meditate on these things.
Those things that you have also learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, put into practice: and the God of peace will be with you.
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last your care for me has flourished again; which you were indeed keen to do, but you lacked the opportunity.
Not that I speak as being in need: for I have learned, whatever condition I am in, to be independent of circumstances.
I know both how to be humbled, and I know how to flourish: every where and in all things I am accustomed to being both full and hungry, both to flourish and to suffer lack.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Nevetheless you have well done, in that you shared in my difficulties.
Now you Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but you only.
For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my necessity.
Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things [which were sent] from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
But my God will supply all your needs, coming down from his abundance in [the realm of] glory through Jesus the Anointed One.

Now to God and our Father [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Give my greetings to all the saints in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send their greetings to you.
All the saints send their greetings, especially those that belong to Caesar's household.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen. <[To [the] Philippians written from Rome, by Epaphroditus.]>
