Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
Let a person consider us, as the representatives of Christ, and managers of God's secret things.
Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgement: yes, I do not even judge myself.
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not justified by this: but he that judges me is the Lord.
Therefore judge nothing before the [kairos] time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make visible the counsels of the hearts: and then every man will receive praise from God.

And these things, brothers, I have figuratively transferred to myself and [to] Apollos for your benefit; that you might learn through us not to think [of men] beyond that which is written, that none of you are proud of one as opposed to the other.
For who causes you to be different [to another]? and what do you have that you did not receive? now if you received [it], why do you boast, as if you had not received [it]?
Now you are full, now you are rich, you have reigned as kings without us: and I wish you would reign, that we also might reign with you.
For I think that God has displayed us the apostles last, like we were sentenced to death: for we are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men.
We [are] fools for Christ's sake, but you [are] wise in Christ; we [are] weak, but you [are] strong; you [are] honored, but we [are] despised.
Even up to the present time we are hungry, and thirsty, and are naked, and are beaten, and have no secure home;
And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, [and are] the scum of the earth until now.
I am not writing these things to put you down, but as my beloved children I am giving you counsel.
For you might have ten thousand mentors in Christ, but you do not have many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I fathered you by means of the gospel.

Therefore I urge you, become imitators of me.
For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and can be trusted in the Lord, who will remind you about my way of doing things that are in Christ, just as I am continually teaching every where in every church.
Now some are being arrogant, as though I did not want to come to you.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and will know, not the talk of those who are being arrogant, but the [dynamic] power.
For the kingdom of God is not found in principles taught but in dynamic power.
What do you want? Should I come to you with a [punishing] rod, or in [agape] love, and [in] the spirit of meekness? - AGAPE - DIVINE LOVE
