Bible Text  (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]

It is common knowledge [that there is] fornication amongst you, and such fornication as has not even been mentioned amongst the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
And you are proud, and have not rather grieved, that he that has done this deed might be removed from your midst.
For I truly, though absent physically, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, [concerning] he that has so done this deed,
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, and my spirit, with the [dynamic] power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
To hand such a person over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Your boasting [is] not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you are unleavened. For Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.
I wrote to you in a letter not to associate with fornicators:
Yet not completely with the fornicators of this world, nor with the covetous, nor extortioners, nor with idolaters; for then you would have to go out of the world.
But now I have written to you not to be associated, if any man that is called a brother is a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; don't even eat with such a person.
For what has it got to do with me to judge those also that are outside? Don't you judge those that are within?
But those that are outside God judges. Therefore remove from your midst that wicked person.
