Bible Text  (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]

What advantage then does the Jew have? or what is the benefit of circumcision?
Much in every way: firstly, because they were entrusted with the words of God.
For what if some did not believe? will their unbelief make the faith of God inoperative?
May that never be: rather, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged.
But if our unrighteousness works with the righteousness of God, what can we say? [Is] God unrighteous when He takes vengeance? [orge] (I speak as a man)
No way: Because then how will God judge the world?
For if the truth of God increased through my lie, leading to his glory, then why am I still condemned as a sinner?
And not, (according to those who speak badly of us and claim that we say,) Let us do evil, in order that good may come? who deserve to be condemned.
What is the conclusion then? Are we better [than them]? No, not at all: for we indicated before that both Jews and Gentiles are all under sin;
Just as it was written, There is no one who is righteous, not a single one:
There is nobody that understands, there is no one that seeks after God.
They have all gone astray, they became useless at the same time; there is no one that produces anything good, not a single one.
Their throat [is] an open grave; they have deceived with their tongues; snake venom [is] under their lips:
Whose mouth [is] full of negative utterances and a bitter root
Their feet [are] quick to shed blood:
Destruction and trouble [are] in their lifestyle:
And the pathway of peace they have not experienced:
There is no fear of God in their thinking.
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who live in the law: that every mouth may be silenced, and the whole world may be found guilty before God.
Therefore as a result of carrying out the activities of the law, no flesh can be considered sinless in his sight: for via the law comes awarenness of sin.
But right now the righteousness of God without the law has been made known, being continually confirmed by the writings of the Law of Moses and the prophets;
Namely the righteousness of God [that comes through] faith in Jesus Christ, toward and coming upon everyone that believes: for there is no distinction.
For all have sinned, and continue to fall short of the glory of God;
Continually being declared righteous freely by his grace through the act of redemption (being bought back) that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God has presented [to be] a gift of appeasement through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness through the putting aside of sins from the past, in the patient tolerance of God;
To declare, at this point in [kairos] time, his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of the one who believes in Jesus.
- KAIROS - TIME
Where [is] boasting then? It is not permitted. Via what law? Of our actions? No: but via the law of faith.
Therefore we come to a conclusion that a person is justified by faith apart from the activities of the law.
[Is he] only the God of the Jews? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, God of the Gentiles also:
Seeing there is one God, who will justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Do we then do away with the law through faith? No way: rather, we establish the law.
