Bible Text  (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]

Then he said to the disciples, It is inevitable that offences will come: but woe to the one through whom they come!
It would be better for that person to have a millstone hung about their neck, and to be thrown into the sea, than to be a stumbling block to one of these little ones.
Pay close attention to yourselves: If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, then forgive him.
And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turns to you, saying, I am sorry; you should forgive him and let it go.
And the apostles said to the Lord, Give us more faith.
And the Lord said, If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could have said to this mulberry tree, Be uprooted and be planted in the sea; and it would have obeyed you.
But who amongst you, having a servant that is plowing or tending sheep, would say to him right away when has has come in from the field, Go ahead and take a break?
Would you not instead say to him, Go ahead and get supper ready, and get ready to serve me, until I have had something to eat and drink; and then you can go and eat and drink?
Is he filled with gratitude because the servant carried out what he was told to do? I don't think so.
So also, when you will have done all those things which you were told to do, say, We are useless servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw [them], he said to them, Go show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said to him, Arise, go your way: your faith has made you whole.
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation:
Neither will they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
And he said to the disciples, The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and you will not see [it].
And they will say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after [them], nor follow [them].
For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one [part] under heaven, shines to the other [part] under heaven; so will also the Son of man be in his day.
But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
And as it was in the days of Noe, so will it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.
Even thus will it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
In that day, he which will be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
Remember Lot's wife.
Whosoever will seek to save his [psuche] life will lose it; and whoever will lose his [psuche] life will preserve it.
- PSUCHE - SOUL LIFE
I tell you, in that night there will be two [men] in one bed; the one will be taken, and the other will be left.
Two [women] will be grinding together; the one will be taken, and the other left.
Two [men] will be in the field; the one will be taken, and the other left.
And they answered and said to him, Where, Lord? And he said to them, Wheresoever the body [is], there will the eagles be gathered together.
