And when the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
And very early in the morning the first [day] of the week, they came to the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
And they said among themselves, Who will roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were terrified.
And he was saying to them, Do not be terrified: You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: He has arisen; he is not here: observe where they laid him.
But go off and tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee: there you will see him, as he said to you.
Note that Peter was mentioned specifically, since he was now the leader of the disciples.

And they left there quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were dazed: not speaking to anyone; for they were afraid.
You would think they would be excited since Jesus had warned them He would rise again. But instead they saw it 0nly from a natural viewpoint. Even the sight of the angel must have scared them.

Now with [Jesus] rising early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
[And] she went and told those who had been with him, while they were mourning and weeping.
And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe it.
Afterward, He appeared, looking different, to the two of them while they were walking and heading out into the countryside.
He seemed to change His appearance after the resurrection, so that they sometimes did not recognize Him at first.

And they went and told [it] to the rest, but they would not believe them either.
Afterward, he appeared to the eleven while they were having a meal and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen him after he was risen.
And he said to them, Go through the whole world, and proclaim the good news to the whole of creation.
Those who have believed and been baptized will be saved, but those who have not believed will be condemned.
And these miraculous signs will accompany those who believed [were entrusted with faith]. In my name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
- TONGUES
They will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on sick people, and they will become well.
So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with [them], proving and establishing the Word with the miracles that followed. Amen.
