Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
And when they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sent out two of his disciples,
And said to them, Go off into the village that lies before you: and as soon as you have entered into it, you will find a colt tied, on which nobody has ever sat; untie it, and bring it here.
And if anyone says to you, Why are you doing this? Tell them that the owner needs it, and they will send it here immediately.
And they went off, and found the colt tied by a door, outside in the street and they untied it.
And someone standing there said to them, What are you doing loosing the colt?
And they said what Jesus had told, and they let them go.
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and placed their mantles on it; and he sat on it.
And many spread their mantles on the road: and others cut down branches off the trees, and spread them along the road.
And those that were in front, and those that were at the back, called out, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is the One that comes in the name of the Lord:
Blessed [be] the kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
And seeing a fig tree at a distance having leaves, he came, hoping he might find something on it: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the [kairos] time of figs had not arrived [yet].

And Jesus responded and said to it, [Let] no man eat fruit from you ever in future. And his disciples heard [it].
And they came to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to drive out those who were selling and buying in the temple, and turned over the tables of the moneychangers, and the chairs of those who were selling doves;
And He refused to allow anyone to carry any equipment through the temple.
And he instructed them, saying, Is it not written, My house will be called by all the nations, the house of prayer? but you have turned it into a den of thieves.
And the scribes and chief priests heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people were amazed at his teachings.
And when even was come, he went out of the city.
And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
And Peter calling to remembrance says to him, Master, behold, the fig tree which you cursed is withered away.
And Jesus answering said to them, Have faith in God.
Let me tell you something, Any person who says to this mountain, Be removed, and be thrown into the sea; and does not waver in doubt in his heart, but is fully persuaded that those things that he is saying are happening for him; he will have whatever he says.
Because of this, I am telling you, no matter what you are asking for yourself, while you are praying, confidently reach out and lay hold of it and it will take place.

And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
And say to him, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority to do these things?
And Jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
The baptism of John, was [it] from heaven, or of men? answer me.
And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we will say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did you not believe him?
But if we will say, Of men; they feared the people: for all [men] counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
And they answered and said to Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering says to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
