1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD [Yahweh] has anointed me to preach good news to the poor and lowly; he has sent me to bandage up those who are crushed inside, to proclaim freedom to those in captivity, and the opening of the eyes of those who are in bondage;
 - SPIRIT OF GOD
2 To proclaim the year of favor and acceptance of the LORD [Yahweh], and the day of vengeance of our God; to console those who are bereaved;
3 To establish those that mourn in Zion, to give to them an ornament for their head in place of ashes, the anointing oil of joy for mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a cloak pf heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD [Yahweh], that he might be glorified.
 - ANOINTING
4 And they will build the old wastes, they will raise up the former desolations, and they will repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien [will be] your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But you will be named the Priests of the LORD [Yahweh]: [men] will call you the Ministers of our God: you will eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory will you boast yourselves.
7 For your shame [you will have] double; and [for] confusion they will rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they will possess the double: everlasting joy will be to them.
8 For I the LORD [Yahweh] love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 And their seed will be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them will acknowledge them, that they [are] the seed [which] the LORD [Yahweh] has blessed.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD [Yahweh], my soul will be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks [himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorns [herself] with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
