The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice.
The tongue of the wise uses knowledge correctly: but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness.
A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness in it [is] a breach in the spirit.
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word [spoken] in due season, how good [is it]!
The wise in heart will be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increases learning.
Pleasant words [are as] a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
The words of a man's mouth [are like] deep waters, a fountain of wisdom that gushes forth like a brook.
To the person that loves a pure heart, through the charm of his speech the king will be his friend.
Favor can come as a result of our words. When your words are filled with wisdom, they give you favor and improve your relationships
For [it is] a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; they will find expression on your lips.
Do not speak in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
This is the same as casting your pearls before swine.
Take with you words, and turn to the LORD [Yahweh]: say to him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
