Jesus performed this healing by choice and even while being angry. He did not get in the Spirit or wait for an anointing. He simply used the power that was resident in Him, and released it with a single word of command. This required authority.
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, be quiet, and be muzzled so you cannot speak. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
He had just woken up and could still use the power He had. It was released through a word of command.
And he took the girl by the hand, and said to her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Little girl, I say to you, arise.
He used words and action together to release the power He had
