Matthew 4:4

But he answered and said, It is written, Man will not only live [zoe] on bread but on every [rhema] word that flows out of the mouth of God.
Bread is often used as a symbol of the Word, but here Jesus compares it with another kind of word. He does not say we should live on the Bible, the Word of God, which is logos, but He says we should live on the active spoken word of God which is rhema. This comes from inside us via our spirits, rather than by reading the Scriptures.


Matthew 12:36

But I say to you, That every inactive [rhema] word that men will speak, they will give account for it on the day of judgement.
Our words carry power and have an effect, either positive or negative. At the end of the day the things that we say determined the kind of lives we live.


Matthew 18:16

But if he will not listen to [you, then] take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every [rhema] word may be established.


Matthew 26:75

And Peter remembered the [rhema] word of Jesus, who said to him, Before the cock crows, you will deny me three times. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

The presence of His rhema words in us produces faith. And when faith is present you can ask for anything and get results
