For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise, says the LORD [Yahweh]; I will set [him] in safety [from he that] scoffs at him.

The angel of the LORD [Yahweh] encamps round about those that fear him, and delivers them.

The eyes of the LORD [Yahweh] [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] to their cry.

For the LORD [Yahweh] loves justice, and does not forsake his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked will be cut off.

He will redeem their life from injury and violence: and their blood will be precious in his sight.

No evil will happen to the just: but the wicked will be filled with trouble.

The name of the LORD [Yahweh] [is] a tower of strength: the righteous runs to it, and is high [above danger].
