And do not bring us into [a place of being] tested [peirazo], but rescue us from the evil one: Because continually belonging to you is the kingdom [authority], and the dynamic power [dunamis], and the glory, forever. Amen.

Stay awake and pray, that you do not enter into temptation [peirazo]: the spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.

Stay awake and pray, in case you fall into temptation [peirazo]. The spirit truly [is] ready, but the flesh [is] weak.

And when the devil had ended all the temptation [peirazo], he went away from him until an appointed [kairos] time.

Those on the rock [are they], which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which at the [kairos] time believe, but in a [kairos] time of temptation [peirazo] fall away.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation [peirazo]; but deliver us from evil.

You are they which have continued with me in my temptations [peirazo].

And when he was at the place, he said to them, Pray that you enter not into temptation [peirazo].

And said to them, Why sleep you? rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation [peirazo].

Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations [peirazo], which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

No temptation [peirazo] has ever taken hold of you that was unique to mankind: and you can trust God to not allow you to be tested [peirazo] beyond what you are capable of; but He will, along with the test [peirazo], also make a way to escape, so that you are able to endure it.

And my time of testing [peirazo] which was in my flesh you despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.

But those that are continually desiring to be wealthy are continually getting caught in tests and traps, and many confusing and hurtful cravings, which drown mankind in destruction and ruin.

Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation [peirazo] in the wilderness:

And others had trial [peirazo] of [cruel] mockings and scourgings, yes, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

My brothers, consider it all joy when you fall into various kinds of trials [peirazo];

Blessed [is] the man that perseveres under trial [peirazo]: for when he has been approved [dokimazo], he will receive the crown of [zoe] life, which the Lord has promised to those that love him.

In which you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if necessary, you are in heaviness through many temptations [peirazo]:

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial [peirazo] which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you:

The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations [peirazo], and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished:

Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation [peirazo], which will come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
