He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in half; he burns the chariot in the fire.

You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind has been placed [on you]: because he trusts in you.

These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
