For the LORD [Yahweh] your God [is] a consuming fire, [even] a jealous God.

Did [ever] people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?

And you said, Behold, the LORD [Yahweh] our God has showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.

Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD [Yahweh] our God any more, then we will die.

Understand therefore this day, that the LORD [Yahweh] your God [is] he which goes over before you; [as] a consuming fire he will destroy them, and he will bring them down before your face: so will you drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD [Yahweh] has said to you.

And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I [am] a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume you and your fifty. And fire came down from heaven and destroyed him and his fifty.

Our God will come, and will not remain silent: a fire will devour before him, and it will be very stormy all around him.

Therefore thus says the LORD [Yahweh] God of hosts, Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it will devour them.

Therefore have I poured out my indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, says the Lord GOD.

You [are] the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you [so]: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they will call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It [is] my people: and they will say, The LORD [Yahweh] [is] my God.

For our God [is] a consuming fire.

And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things says the Son of God, who has his eyes like to a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass;

And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
