Then Herod, when he had privately called for the wise men, investigated accurately with them, how long ago [chronos] the star started shining.

Then Herod, when he realized that he had been deceived by the wise men, was seething mad, and gave orders to kill all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all its boundaries, from two years old and under, according to the [chronos] time that he had accurately determined from the wise men.

After a long [chronos] time the master of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.

And Jesus said to them, Can the children of the bridal party fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as [chronos] they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

And he asked his father, How long [chronos] is it since this came to him? And he said, Of a child.

Now Elisabeth's full [chronos] time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

And the devil, taking him up into a high mountain, showed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of [chronos] time.

And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long [chronos] time, and wore no clothes, neither lived in [any] house, but in the tombs.

(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For at frequent [chronos] times it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he broke the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

And he would not for a [chronos] while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

He began then to present to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, handed it over to gardeners, and traveled abroad for a long [chronos] time period.

When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been now a long [chronos] time [in that condition], he said to him, Do you want to be made well?

Then Jesus said to them, I will only be with you a little [chronos] longer, and [then] I am going to him that sent me.

Then Jesus said to them, The light will only be with you a little [chronos] longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness comes upon you: for he that walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

Jesus said to him, Have I been such a long [chronos] time with you, and yet you have not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how do you say [then], Show us the Father?

When they therefore had assembled together, they asked him, saying, Lord, are you going to at this [chronos] time period restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And he said to them, It is not for you to know the [chronos] time periods or the [kairos] dates, which the Father has placed in his own authority.

Therefore from these men who have accompanied us all the [chronos] time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

Whom the heaven must receive until the [chronos] times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

But when the [chronos] time of the promise drew near, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

And to him they had regard, because that of long [chronos] time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

And about the [chronos] time of forty years he suffered their manners in the wilderness.

They therefore stayed a long [chronos] time speaking boldly in the Lord, who gave testimony to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

And they stayed there a long [chronos] time with the disciples.

And after they had remained [there] a [chronos] space, they were let go in peace from the brothers to the apostles.

And the [chronos] times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:

When they desired [him] to wait a longer [chronos] time with them, he did not agree to it;

And after he had spent some [chronos] time [there], he departed, and went over [all] the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a [chronos] season.

And when they had come to him, he said to them, You know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all [chronos] seasons,

Now when much [chronos] time had elapsed, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished [them],

Do you not know, brothers, (for I speak to those that know the law,) how that the law has dominion over a man as [chronos] long as he lives?

The wife is bound by the law as [chronos] long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to wait a [chronos] while with you, if the Lord permit.

Now I say, [That] the heir, as [chronos] long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

But when the time of waiting was over, God sent his Son, made from a woman, made under the law,

But concerning how long before [chronos] and at what point in time [kairos] , brothers, you don't need me to record in writing for you.

Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a [chronos] time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.

For even though by this point in time you should be teachers, you are needing someone to teach you over again the introductory principles of God's Word; having become those that need milk, and not solid food.

And what will I more say? for the [chronos] time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and [of] Barak, and [of] Samson, and [of] Jephthae; [of] David also, and Samuel, and [of] the prophets:

And if you call on the Father, who without favoritism judges according to every man's work, pass the [chronos] time of your sojourning [here] in fear:

Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last [chronos] times for you,

That he no longer should live the rest of [his] [chronos] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

For we have spent enough time in the past, doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in unbridled lust, evil cravings, drinking too much, partying, drinking bouts, and illegal worshipping of idols:

How they told you that there would be mockers in the last [chronos] times, who would follow after their own ungodly lusts.

And I gave her [chronos] time to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

And white robes were given to every one of them; and it was said to them, that they should rest yet for a little [chronos] season, until their fellowservants also and their brothers, that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled.

And swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be [chronos] time no longer:

And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be released a little [chronos] season.
