Study on AUTHORITY:
So seek after the Kingdom of God first, and his righteousness; and all these things will also be given to you.
Seeking the kingdom results in an increase of your authority. That authority enables you to claim anything you desire
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, every kind of authority has been delegated to me in heaven and upon the earth.
Jesus did not just say, I have been given authority. He indicated that authority may vary in nature. He used the word ALL to describe that authority.
The word used there can mean either every kind of authority or every level of authority.
It is important that we know what kind of authority we have before we can use it.
But as many as received him, to them He gave authority to become the sons of God, [even] to those that believe on his name:
Saying, Give me also this authority, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.
Simon saw this as an authority rather than a divine ability.
Does the potter not have authority over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel to honor, and another to dishonor?
