Genesis 19:1

Genesis 21:17

This could only happen because the prophet had decreed it into the earth and given license for God to move on behalf of His people.


1 Chronicles 21:15

And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD [Yahweh] beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now your hand. And the angel of the LORD [Yahweh] stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.


Psalms 8:5

For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and majesty.

These were angels and their appearance gives us an idea of what angels look like. Firstly they are generally seen to be male in gender. There is no evidence of a female angel. Then, their clothes were shining

It took the work of an angel to bring this revelation to Philip rather than an internal revelation. Here is the function of a messenger angel

All who were in Christ when they died i.e. all believers. There are no in-between’s - those who were in Christ but lost it before death.

We are surrounded by innumerable angels.
