Study on CREATION:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
This was before time or the beginning of time. The creation then was complete, but something happened between verses 1 and 2. This is known as the gap theory and teaches that the earth came under judgment and was recreated in the Genesis account. This is thought to link with the fall of Satan from heaven.
He created them male and female; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day that they were created.
For thus says the LORD [Yahweh] that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he did not create it without form, but he framed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD [Yahweh]; and [there is] none else.
This verse appears to disagree with Genesis 1:2 which says that the earth was without form after creation. It shows that the earth originally was not created a formless mass, but was made to be inhabited. But something happened that left it in the condition of being formless as described in Genesis 1:2
