Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
In the LORD [Yahweh] I put my trust: How can you say to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain?
For, look, the wicked bend [their] bows, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may secretly shoot at the upright in heart.
If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
The LORD [Yahweh] [is] in his holy temple, the LORD [Yahweh]'S throne [is] in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids test, the children of men.
The LORD [Yahweh] tries the righteous: but the wicked and he that loves violence his soul hates.
Upon the wicked he will rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a scorching wind: [this will be] the portion of their cup.
For the righteous LORD [Yahweh] loves righteousness; his face observes the upright.
