1 In the end <1161> <3796> of the sabbath <4521>, as it began to dawn <2020> (5723) toward <1519> the first <3391> day of the week <4521>, came <2064> (5627) Mary <3137> Magdalene <3094> and <2532> the other <243> Mary <3137> to see <2334> (5658) the sepulchre <5028>.
2 And <2532>, behold <2400> (5628), there was <1096> (5633) a great <3173> earthquake <4578> : for <1063> the angel <32> of the Lord <2962> descended <2597> (5631) from <1537> heaven <3772>, and came <4334> (5631) and rolled back <617> (5656) the stone <3037> from <575> the door <2374>, and <2532> sat <2521> (5711) upon <1883> it <846>.

3 <1161> His <846> countenance <2397> was <2258> (5713) like <5613> lightning <796>, and <2532> his <846> raiment <1742> white <3022> as <5616> snow <5510>:
4 And <1161> for <575> fear <5401> of him <846> the keepers <5083> (5723) did shake <4579> (5681), and <2532> became <1096> (5633) as <5616> dead <3498> men.
5 And <1161> the angel <32> answered <611> (5679) and said <2036> (5627) unto the women <1135> , Fear <5399> (5737) not <3361> ye <5210>: for <1063> I know <1492> (5758) that <3754> ye seek <2212> (5719) Jesus <2424>, which <3588> was crucified <4717> (5772).

6 He is <2076> (5748) not <3756> here <5602>: for <1063> he is risen <1453> (5681), as <2531> he said <2036> (5627). Come <1205> (5773), see <1492> (5628) the place <5117> where <3699> the Lord <2962> lay <2749> (5711).
7 And <2532> go <4198> (5679) quickly <5035>, and tell <2036> (5628) his <846> disciples <3101> that <3754> he is risen <1453> (5681) from <575> the dead <3498>; and <2532>, behold <2400> (5628), he goeth before <4254> (5719) you <5209> into <1519> Galilee <1056>; there <1563> shall ye see <3700> (5695) him <846>: lo <2400> (5628), I have told <2036> (5627) you <5213>.
8 And <2532> they departed <1831> (5631) quickly <5035> from <575> the sepulchre <3419> with <3326> fear <5401> and <2532> great <3173> joy <5479>; and did run <5143> (5627) to bring <518> <0> his <846> disciples <3101> word <518> (5658).
9 And <1161> as <5613> they went <4198> (5711) to tell <518> (5658) his <846> disciples <3101>, <2532> behold <2400> (5628), Jesus <2424> met <528> (5656) them <846>, saying <3004> (5723), All hail <5463> (5720). And <1161> they came <4334> (5631) and held <2902> (5656) him <846> by the feet <4228>, and <2532> worshipped <4352> (5656) him <846>.
10 Then <5119> said <3004> (5719) Jesus <2424> unto them <846>, Be <5399> <0> not <3361> afraid <5399> (5737): go <565> (5632) tell <518> (5657) my <3450> brethren <80> that <2443> they go <5217> (5720) into <1519> Galilee <1056>, and there <2546> shall they see <3700> (5695) me <3165>.
11 Now <1161> when they <846> were going <4198> (5740), behold <2400> (5628), some <5100> of the watch <2892> came <2064> (5631) into <1519> the city <4172>, and shewed <518> (5656) unto the chief priests <749> all the things <537> that were done <1096> (5637).
12 And <2532> when they were assembled <4863> (5685) with <3326> the elders <4245>, and <5037> had taken <2983> (5631) counsel <4824>, they gave <1325> (5656) large <2425> money <694> unto the soldiers <4757> ,
13 Saying <3004> (5723), Say ye <2036> (5628), <3754> His <846> disciples <3101> came <2064> (5631) by night <3571>, and stole <2813> (5656) him <846> away while we <2257> slept <2837> (5746).
14 And <2532> if <1437> this <5124> come <191> <0> to <1909> the governor#s <2232> ears <191> (5686), we <2249> will persuade <3982> (5692) him <846>, and <2532> secure <275> <4160> (5692) you <5209>.
15 So <1161> they took <2983> (5631) the money <694>, and did <4160> (5656) as <5613> they were taught <1321> (5681): and <2532> this <3778> saying <3056> is commonly reported <1310> (5681) among <3844> the Jews <2453> until <3360> this day <4594>.
16 Then <1161> the eleven <1733> disciples <3101> went away <4198> (5675) into <1519> Galilee <1056>, into <1519> a mountain <3735> where <3757> Jesus <2424> had appointed <5021> (5668) them <846>.
17 And <2532> when they saw <1492> (5631) him <846>, they worshipped <4352> (5656) him <846> : but <1161> some doubted <1365> (5656).
18 And <2532> Jesus <2424> came <4334> (5631) and spake <2980> (5656) unto them <846>, saying <3004> (5723), All <3956> power <1849> is given <1325> (5681) unto me <3427> in <1722> heaven <3772> and <2532> in <1909> earth <1093>.
Jesus did not just say, I have been given authority. He indicated that authority may vary in nature. He used the word ALL to describe that authority.

The word used there can mean either every kind of authority or every level of authority.

It is important that we know what kind of authority we have before we can use it.

19 Go ye <4198> (5679) therefore <3767>, and teach <3100> (5657) all <3956> nations <1484> , baptizing <907> (5723) them <846> in <1519> the name <3686> of the Father <3962>, and <2532> of the Son <5207>, and <2532> of the Holy <40> Ghost <4151>:
20 Teaching <1321> (5723) them <846> to observe <5083> (5721) all things <3956> whatsoever <3745> I have commanded <1781> (5662) you <5213>: and <2532>, lo <2400> (5628), I <1473> am <1510> (5748) with <3326> you <5216> alway <3956> <2250>, even unto <2193> the end <4930> of the world <165> . Amen <281>.
