1 Realize what kind of [agape] love the Father has given to us, so that we could be called the children of God: therefore the world system does not understand us, because it did not understand Him.
 - AGAPE - DIVINE LOVE
2 Beloved, we are now the sons of God, but we are not yet manifested as we will be in the future; but we know that, when he appears, we will be like him; for we will see him as he is.
3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
 - HOPE
4 Whoever commits sin also breaks the law: for sin is the violation of the law.
5 And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him there is no sin.
6 Whoever remains in him does not sin; whoever continues to sin has not seen him, neither come to know him.
7 Little children, let no one lead you astray: the one that does the right things is in a condition of righteousness, just as he is righteous.
8 Continuing to commit sin is from the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. This is why the Son of God was revealed, so that he could undo the work of the devil.
He removes the work of the devil by dissolving it away

9 Whoever is born from God does not commit sin; because his DNA remains in them: and they are not able to sin, because they are born from God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whoever does not produce righteousness does not originate from God, neither he that loves not his brother.
11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not like Cain, [who] was from the wicked one, and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own actions were evil, and his brother's were right
13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, when the world hates you.
14 We know that we have moved out of death and into life, because we love the brothers. He that does not love [his] brother remains in death.
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal [zoe] life abiding in him.
16 This is how we know the [agape] love [of God], because he laid down his [psuche] life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] [psuche] lives for the brothers.

17 But whoever has this world's [bios] goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart [of compassion] from him, how can the [agape] love of God dwell in him?
 - AGAPE - DIVINE LOVE - BIOS - LIFE
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and will assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, [then] have we confidence towards God.
22 And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keeps his commandments dwells in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.
