Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
I appeal to the elders who are among you, since I am a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed:
Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, taking the role of overseer, not because you are forced to, but voluntarily; not for what you can get out it, but with a right attitude;
Not dominating those under your care, but becoming models to the flock.
And when the chief Shepherd will appear, you will receive a crown of glory that does not fade away.

Likewise, you younger [ones], submit yourselves to the older [ones]. Yes, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you at the proper [kairos] time:

Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
Remain calm, pay attention; because your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is continually walking around looking for someone that he can swallow up and overwhelm:
Take a strong stand against him in faith, knowing that the same difficulties are being imposed on your brothers and sisters by the world system.
But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have been through suffering for a short time, will Himself make you complete, stable and strong, laying a foundation in you.
To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
By Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.
The [church that is] at Babylon, elected together with [you], salutes you; and [so doth] Marcus my son.
Greet you one another with a kiss of [agape] love. Peace [be] with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen. - AGAPE - DIVINE LOVE
