Bible Text  (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]

Paul, an apostle, (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
And all the brothers that are with me, to the churches of Galatia:
Grace [be] to you and peace from God the Father, and [from] our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might rescue us from this current evil age, according to the will of our God and Father:
To whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
I am amazed that you are so soon deserting him that called you into the grace of Christ to go to a different gospel:
Which is not another [gospel]; but there are some that are confusing you, and want to corrupt the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach any gospel to you besides what we [previously] preached to you, let him be under a curse [anathema].
As we said before, so I am saying now again, Whoever preaches any gospel to you besides what you have received, let him be cursed [anathema].
For am I now listening to men, or God? or am I seeking to please men? If I am still pleasing men, I would not be the servant of Christ.
But I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel which was preached by me is not under the control of man.
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it [by man], but through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
For you have heard of my manner of life in the past in the Jews' religion, that I intensely persecuted the church of God, and was destroying it:
And was advancing in the Jews' religion above many of my equals in my own nation, being much more zealous for the traditions of my ancestors.
But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called [me] by his grace,
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood:
Neither did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles [that were] above me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
But I saw none of the other apostles, except James the Lord's brother.
Now the things that I am writing to you, see, before God, I am not lying.
Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
And I was unknown by sight to the churches of Judaea who were in Christ:
But they had just heard, That he who persecuted us in the past is now preaching the faith that he once destroyed.
And they glorified God in me.
