Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some [others], epistles of commendation to you, or [letters] of commendation from you?
You are our letter written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
You demonstrate this clearly, since you are a letter from Christ being delivered by us, having been written not with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God; not in stone tablets, but in fleshy tablets of the heart.
And this is the kind of confidence we have through Christ towards God:
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God;
Who also equipped us to be qualified ministers of the new covenant; not through knowledge of the law, but through the spirit: for knowledge of the law brings death, but the spirit brings life.
But if the ministry of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away:
How will not the ministry of the spirit be rather glorious?
For if the ministry of condemnation [be] glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness exceed in glory.
For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excels.
For if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remains [is] glorious.
And not as Moses, [who] put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly gazeat that which is abolished:
But their minds were blinded: for until this day the same veil remains untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [veil] is done away in Christ.
But even to this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.
But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit: and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is true freedom.
- SPIRIT OF GOD
- SPIRIT OF GOD
But all of us, with unveiled face [continually] looking at the reflection of the glory of the Lord, are [continually] changing [metamorphoo] into the same image from one [level of] glory into another [level of] glory, just like the glory that comes from the Spirit of the Lord. - SPIRIT OF GOD
