Bible Text (Scroll to Verse)  [Copy]
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] to show him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, There will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things occur? and what [will be] the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?
And Jesus answered and said to them, See to it that no one deceives you.
For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and will deceive many.
And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you are not frightened: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, and pandemics, and earthquakes, in various places.
All these [are] the beginning of labour pains.
Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted, and will kill you: and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
And many false prophets will rise, and will deceive many.
But he that will endure to the end, will be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come.
When you therefore will see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand:)
Then let those who are in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
And woe to those that are pregnant, and to those who are breast feeding in those days!
But pray that your flight is not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the age to this time, no, nor ever will be.
And unless those days are shortened, there would be no lives saved: but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.
Then if any man will say to you, Look, here [is] Christ, or there; do not believe [it].
For there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and will show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if [it were] possible, they would deceive the very elect.
Note, I have told you beforehand.
Therefore if they should say to you, Look, he is in the desert; do not go out: look, [he is] in the secret rooms; do not believe [it].
For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines right into the west; so also will the coming of the Son of man be.
For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the [dynamic] powers of the heavens will be shaken:
And then the sign of the Son of man in heaven will appear: and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with [dynamic] power and great glory.
And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branch is still tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer [is] near:
So likewise you, when you will see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.
Truly I say to you, This generation will not end, until all these things are fulfilled.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
But no one knows exactly that day and hour, no, not [even] the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noah [were], so also will the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
And did not know until the flood came, and took them all away; so also will the coming of the Son of man be.
Then two will be in the field; the one will be taken, and the other left.
Two [women will be] grinding at the mill; the one will be taken, and the other left.
Be on guard therefore: for you do not know which hour your Lord is coming.
But know this, that if the owner of the house had known in which time period the thief would come, he would have stood guard, and would not have allowed his house to be broken up.
Therefore you also be ready: for in such a hour as you do not think the Son of man is coming.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food when it is due [kairos]?
- KAIROS - TIME
- KAIROS - TIME
Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he comes will find so doing.
Truly I say to you, That he will make him ruler over all his goods.
But in the event that the evil servant should say in his heart, My lord is delaying his coming;
And will begin to strike [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards;
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he is not expecting [him], and in a hour that he is not aware of,
And will cut him in half, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
