At that [kairos] time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,
- KAIROS - TIME
And said to his servants, This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead; and therefore miracles are at work in him.
For Herod had seized John, and bound him, and put [him] in prison because of Herodias', his brother Philip's wife.
For John [had] said to him, It is not lawful for you to have her.
And though he wanted to put him to death, he feared the crowd, because they considered him a prophet.
But when Herod's birthday [celebration] was held, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked.
And she, being beforehand instructed by her mother, said, Give me here John the Baptist's head on a platter.
And the king was sorry: nevertheless because of the oath, and those who sat with him at [the] banquet [table], he commanded [it] to be given [to her].
And he sent [an order], and beheaded John in the prison.
And his head was brought on a platter, and given to the girl: and she brought [it] to her mother.
And his disciples came, and picked up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
When Jesus heard [of it], he left there by ship to a quiet deserted place: and when the people had heard [about it], they followed him on foot out of the cities.
And Jesus went out, and saw a great crowd, and was moved with compassion towards them, and he healed their sick.
Compassion for the suffering of others is an important requisite for a healing ministry.

And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a deserted place, and the time is now late; send the crowd away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves provisions.
But Jesus said to them, They do not need to leave; you give them [something] to eat.
And they said to him, We have here only five loaves, and two fishes.
He said, Bring them here to me.
And he commanded the crowd to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and broke [them], and gave the loaves to [his] disciples, and the disciples [gave them] to the crowd.
And they all ate, and were full: and they picked up from the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

Even Jesus ate from this miracle provision. This shows that we can also partake of the blessings of the anointing while we are ministering to others. If you have a need for healing or provision, you have a right to partake of it from your own anointing.

And those that had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
And immediately Jesus made his disciples get into a ship, and go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the crowds away.
And when he had sent the crowds away, he went up into a mountain by Himself to pray: and when the evening came, he was there all alone.
But the ship was now in the middle of the sea, struggling in the waves: for the wind was going in the opposite direction.
And between six and nine o'clock in morning as the sun was rising, Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out with fear.
But immediately, Jesus spoke to them, saying, Cheer up; it is Me; do not be afraid.
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, tell me to come to you on the water.
All it takes to walk in His power is to hear His voice telling you to do it. When He initiates anything, the power comes with it.

So he said, Come to me. And when Peter had descended from the ship, he walked upon the water, to go toward Jesus.
But when he noticed that the wind was strong, he became afraid; and started to sink, he cried [out], saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him, and said to him, you one of little faith, why did you waver with doubt?
When we fail, He does not. He will always catch you and vindicate you.

And when they stepped back into the ship, the wind stopped blowing.
Then those that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, You really are the Son of God.
And when they had gone across, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
And when the men of that place found out about him, they sent out [word] into all the surrounding region, and brought to him all that were diseased;
And begged him that they might just touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched [it] were made perfectly well.
The healing power was in His mantle. The same applies when we walk in that mantle. People do not receive the healing from us, but from the mantle.
