1 Hear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who leads Joseph like a flock; you who sits [between] the cherubims, shine forth.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh awaken your power, and come save us.
3 Restore us, O God, and cause your face to shine; and we will be saved.
4 O LORD [Yahweh] God of hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
5 You feed them the bread of tears; and you water them with tears by the bucketful.
6 You cause us to be in strife with our neighbors: and our enemies ridicule us.
7 Restore us, O God of hosts, and cause your face to shine; and we will be saved.
8 You removed a vine from Egypt: you cast out the nations, and planted it.
9 You prepared the ground, and it took firm root and filled the earth.
10 The hills were covered with its shade, and its branches [were like] mighty cedars.
11 She sent out her branches to the sea, and her shoots as far the river.
12 Why have you broken down her walls, so that all those that pass by pluck her grapes?
13 The wild boars from the forest tear it apart, and the wild beasts of the field feed on it.
14 Return, we pray you, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and see, and care for this vine;
15 And the vineyard that your right hand planted, and the branch [that] you strengthened for yourself.
16 [It is] burned with fire, [it is] cut down: they perish at the presence of your rebuke.
17 Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, upon the son of man [whom] you made strong for yourself.
19 Restore us, O LORD [Yahweh] God of hosts, cause your face to shine; and we will be saved.
