1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come?
2 My help [comes] from the LORD [Yahweh], which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved: he that keeps you will not slumber.
4 Look, he that keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD [Yahweh] [is] your keeper: the LORD [Yahweh] [is] your shade upon your right hand.
6 The sun will not attack you during daylight, nor the moon at night.
7 The LORD [Yahweh] will preserve you from all evil: he will preserve your soul.
8 The LORD [Yahweh] will preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and also for eternity.
