1 The earth [is] the LORD [Yahweh]'S, and the fulness of it; the world, and those that dwell in it.
2 For he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who will ascend into the hill of the LORD [Yahweh]? or who will stand in his holy place?
4 He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He will receive the blessing from the LORD [Yahweh], and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This [is] the generation of those that seek him, that seek your face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory will come in.
This is a picture of praise and worship. We lift our heads and open the gates of our mouth in praise. And the result? The king of glory comes in.
8 Who [is] this King of glory? The LORD [Yahweh] strong and mighty, the LORD [Yahweh] mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift [them] up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory will come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD [Yahweh] of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. Selah.
