1 The LORD [Yahweh] said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies into your footstool.
2 The LORD [Yahweh] will extend the sceptre of your strength from Zion: you will reign in the midst of your enemies.
3 Your people will offer themselves when you come to power, in the splendor of holiness, and your youth will come forth like the morning dew.
4 The LORD [Yahweh] has made an oath, and will not change His mind, You [are] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at your right hand will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, he will fill [the places] with dead bodies; he will crush the heads of many countries.
7 He will drink from a brook on the way: therefore he will lift up his head.
